In October of 2006, we decided that it was necessary to place our lovely home in Milton on the market for sale. It was a hard decision, but it was very necessary. I contacted Kathy Sperl-Bell via e-mail on a Saturday night. We felt it was important to get the house on the market quickly. Kathy contacted me Sunday morning and we had an appointment that afternoon. She was very professional and made us feel we had definitely chosen the correct realtor to represent our house as well as us. She also introduced us to her husband, Bill, who happens to be her business partner. Both partners were very quick in responding to messages. As sales transactions go, our situation was not an easy one. In addition, the market at the time switched to a strong buyer’s market. There were some very stressful times both for Kathy, Bill and us. However, we made it through and we could not have done it without their perseverance. Bill made us feel special. One night after Bill’s very long day, he stopped at our home to brain storm ideas that may be helpful to us. Our house was not selling and Bill gave us very valuable information. In addition, Bill is a contractor and he was there to help on the last minute jobs that needed to be done before our settlement. Kathy helped us purchase our retirement home near the beaches in Delaware in 2008. After finding a description of the house on the Internet, we searched for local real estate agents and left a message on Kathy's phone. She called within an hour to discuss our interest and needs. Within a day or two, Kathy went to the property, shot many interior and exterior photos and reported on the condition of the home and its landscaping. She also checked other listings for similar properties for us to see. We soon traveled to Delaware and met Kathy. With all of the information Kathy had provided us, we were able to make a quick decision and write a contract on our dream home. Kathy made all the arrangements for the inspection and several other contingencies, and the closing could not have gone more smoothly. Kathy has since been a great help to us in finding contractors to do minor repairs and additional landscaping.
